I have a 78x18x24 inch, 150 gallon aquarium with 3/4 inch glass and I would like to sell it but don't want to totally screwball myself in the process. I have seen many tanks of the same size but none of them have the same thickness of glass. I was just wondering if there was anyone out there with some aquarium sales experience who might be able to help price this bad boy without getting railroaded. Thanks in advance

In general, the rule of thumb for used aquariums is $2 per gallon - so a 150 gallon should have a minimum price of $300. You do not mention a stand or hood, or accessories, such as lights, filter, etc. What is the condition of the glass tank? Any chips, cracks, or scratches? Flaws always lower the price. How old is the tank? Is the stand metal or wood? I would check the internet for prices of used tanks similar to yours, then compare and price the item accordingly.
