I bought a UV sterilizer for my work tank as it sits in the sun all day and the water yellows quickly. I installed it yesterday and the air inlet was sucking in air and you could see the bubbles in the tank, and you could hear, through the tube, the inlet taking in air.

This morning when I got to work there are no bubbles coming from the outlet, and it would seems the air inlet is no longer taking in air.

Any ideas? Is this normal?

Thanks!

Mine had an air inlet but I remember it ever using it. Mine acted like a filter would, pull water in and push it back out no bubbles involved.

Yea it was just odd that one day it did it, and the next it wasnt. Im sure that air inlet is there for a reason, and yesterday it was so loud from pulling in the air.
