Vinyl Tubing or PVC

Is it better to use one or the other? I like the black vinyl. my tank-stand-canopy are all gloss black. Plus I think the tubing would not be so rigid. Living in So. Cal., mother nature has a way of shaking things up a bit. 8O

I think what ever works best for you. I find PVC works good for me in most cases but I have tubing in other places as well where i need the flexability.
