water test kit help

ok guys i just started a freshwater aquarium, but i need something that can test the water very acurately and tell me the ph and all that stuff

I'd second that...the API is a good kit. The only extras you may want to consider is a KH/GH kit for ~ $6.00.

alright guys, ill get a test kit like that. now i need to know about prices... i want something that is good, but isnt a lot of money.

www.bigalsonline.com/ you can get the API Master test kit for 15 dollars along with some other goodies you may need to stock up on. Yes there is shipping but if you get a few things then the savings will by far surpass the shipping costs. And also I have seen the test kits as high as 30-40 dollars at retail stores.

yeah, I was struggling with strips (not nowing what I was doing) until I got the API freshwater kit - great one and highly recomended
