Water Testing Kits

Hi

I don't know if anyone can recommend a good water testing kit, as i had bought the strips but they are pretty useless. I googled and was quite baffled by them all, so any advice on what is good, accurate and yet pretty straightforward to use, would be gratefully received.

(My tank is 30L and has 5 adult Platys and 1 baby Platy (that has miraculously managed to survive and not be eaten by the others!!)

Thanks

Natalie

I am pretty new at this, but from what I read, API master test kit is supposedly very good.
