on the waterbox tanks...the tank that I'm looking at is 12" deep (I really only want it for corals and (in a year or so)I'll add a clam....I'm debating about going up a few more gallons and getting the tank that's 18" deep...but if I'm only doing corals and clams...do I need 18"?

You might be fine with a more shallow tank, but you will want a large amount of water with good flow as well.

Which clam are you thinking of?

I'll probably just do a crocea. I've had great luck with them in the past and they're beautiful too. Thank you for your help!

Clams are great! I love looking at Clams of all kinds, one day when I have more time to focus on my SW tank I would like to get one (some :) ).
