Can someone tell me if it is worth it to get a wet/dry filter? Eheim makes one and I'm thinking about getting one but I would like to know if it is worth it or not.

I can't really help you, but others may find a little more info helpful...

What size tank?
What's in it (livestock)?
What are you currently using for filtration?
Is there a reason that you're considering the switch(or, what are you hoping to gain by switching)?

Good luck - and I'll be watching this thread, b/c I'm leaning towards wet/dry when I set mine up...

The switch is because I'm getting rid of a Tetratec 500. My tank is 84 gallons and I have mostly cichlids. I also have a fluval 404.
