What are your opinions on AquaClear brand filters?

Would you recommend them over an entry level brand such as Whisper?

Yes, Whisper filters are only good for small tanks, AquaClear is the best filter I use.

Excellent filter by my standards, have used them for years without ever an issue. Have several running right now.

I have a mix of many different saltwater fish amongst my tanks, but I love my Tangs most of all.

Been using them since i was a kid. If i wanted to use another filter with my fluval canister i would definitely choose an aquaclear.
