this is being sold in my area and was wondering if it was a good buy or not

large aquarium sump with biowheel and filter trays. new well over $100 asking $50 obo

With a tank size of 46 to 75 gal (taken from your previous post), IMO a sump is not needed (we're talking FW, right?). A canister filter is enough. And with this being your first tank, a canister filter is going to be easier to maintain.
