What filter feeder food do you use?

I was looking at kents micro-vert. Can I just use blender mush?

I use kent phytomax and marine snow.

Have kept 1 flame scallop, 2 clams, etc for 3 months so far.

I also hear flame scallops do poor in home aquariums. He looks better than the day I bought him.
