Lemme know what heaters you guys use or would use and why. Gonna be upgrading in a month or so...and im looking at a 100w aqueon.

I have 2 with 50 watt Aquatop Heaters ( I really don't recommend that brand, long story) and one with a 50 watt Penn Plaxx Cascade.

I have some Aqueon heaters and they are good. Aqueon also has a very good warranty. I had a 200 watt that was still working but made noise and they sent out a new one with no hassle at all.

I use a 25 watt cobalt neotherm in my 10g that is in my basement. I love the cobalt heaters. I second the no aquatop recommendation. Heaters = you get what you pay for. Hydor are good too.

I'm using the same heater for my tank that want for yours except mine is only a 50w. Does the job perfectly. The 100w is just too much for a 10gal.

I'm using Eheim heaters. Which is good and are tough too.
