What is this!!!??

This little white worm looking thing was creaping around inside my tank! I have no idea what it is. It's the thing that is dead center in the photo. It moved around like a worm... I have snails so I was thinking maybe a shell-less snail?

I've seen one of those before. It was attached to a drag I bought. I didn't know if it was good or not and I didn't want to risk it so I made sure pick him off before putting it in my tank. I've seen other tanks with those in the sand bed and they've never had any problems.
