I have a 46 gal. Corner hex tank running FOWLR. My question is what would light the tank best? Florescent vs Led?
What lightning option is best?

For a fish only tank any lights will do. 
I have both leds and the t5's and both are really good but the led's give a nice shimmer to the water in my opinion. Plus you dont have to replace bulbs every year as the leds are good for approximately 10 years give or take.

Ok, so I went with the LED lights and i'm glad i did they are awesome! I went with Marineland double bright LED, The shimmer is very cool and my fish don't hide in the rocks when the Lunar LED's are on like they did when the old florescent light i had went off.
