What size filter question

I have a marine setup and the filter looks a bit small for the size of the tank. The tank is 2ft x 1 ft x 1.2 ft which works out at about 17 gallon and was wondering how many lph i should be looking at to have crystal clear waters

Your dimensions in cm are 60x30x36 which comes out at around 64 litres. For marine, I think people recommend to aim to cycle the tank around 5 times per hour, so roughly a 300lph filter. You may want to go for more than this though, to improve circulation, I would wait for a second opinion from someone who keeps marine fish.

If this is freshwater, aim for 5x-10x turnover rate; saltwater, go for 10x+.

I've always heard 10x turnover rate was good, so I'd rather be safe than sorry
