What is the maximum size tank you should be running with a. Filter pump without airpump and at what size do you start using air pumps ??? Freshwater

You don't need an air ump or bubbler in any size tank. As long as your filter provides the necessary water movement at the surface of the tank for oxygen exchange a bubbler is completely optional. If you like the look of the bubbles, get one, but if you don't just be sure that the filter agitates the top of the water.

A air pump is a good idea in any size tank as it raises the redox ORP

In higher temps your fish may struggle without a air pump

No need to use an air pump for any size tank. They do oxygenate the water but are more for decoration. With regular water changes, your oxygen levels will be fine.....
