The lid you said you were going to make. I thought you ment canopy

Power compact bulbs are expensive, at least in my book. I have a 34 inch one I think and there just under 80 bucks ! The lfs said I should just switch to t5's. There more efficient and I don't have to change all the bulbs at the same time.

Well if you are doing glass lids that eliminates the canopy mounting option. I'm thinking you could pick up some angle bracket, L shaped I'm thinking. Get a suitable size and mount it to the ends of the light. It looks like it has holes that can be used to mount it. You shouldn't need anything heavy duty and you can paint it black so it blends in better.

Yea, i am thinking this! Where should i get the stand/legs?

Im cycling at the moment, but i am
Definitly planning on low-light coral only for a long time

I would check out a hardware store, you could also call a welding/fabrication shop and see if they have any.

I have no idea. There are 2 different model number there and it lists models of lights they fit. I would think if your light is similar in size to one listed you would be good to go. Good luck!
