What type of lighting do you use?

Just curious if anyone has actinics only ( for PC bulbs) ?

right now I have two 50/50 10k and actintic bulbs, but really like how the corals look under more blue lights ( I have 3 LED 'moonlights' as part of my fixture on at night)

I have a 10k MH light thats on for about 8 hours day but the PCs are on before and after these lights go on/off...

Is it possible to have only actinics for the PC or would corals do better under the 50/50? Just looking for a way to make the colors stand out a bit

Yeah you can do that for the pc. Have them be like your dawn and dusk lights. Have them on for two hours then have your mh and pc on for 4 hours then pc for 2 hours. That way you will really get the colors to "pop" out.

Might want to go the simple route of replacing the MH bulb with a 14K ro even 20K to get that pop that you are looking for. I think that most actinic PC bulbs will still be drowned out by the MH.
where's me money
