Whats up with my new AC200?

I just set up the new ac200 onto my 20 gallon goldie tank. Only one problem the u tube doesnt quite make it to the impeller. It works fine and evrything its just a little bit noisy. Has anyone experienced this? Will it be ok to leave it like this?

I ifugred it out(well actually my mom did). The new filter was missing the little gray piece that kinda fits over the propeller so i just used the one from my old ac.
