Where did you put the intake for the canister filter?

I was curious where everyone has there intake for there canister filters, or how close or far away from the middle?

When I had one, I had mine all the way at the bottom. My PH's would shoot water straight to it. 8)

Running one on a 30 high tank so it doesn't matter.When used on a long tank I put it in the center,close to the bottom,unless I was using it in conjunction with an HOB, then I would have an intake on each end.
