Well My grandmother died recently and parents are going to make me a room downstairs. I am planning on setting up a 250-300G reef with X gallon sump. Where do you get enough water fast? Also how much turnover does it need?

Edit* NM, didn't see the word "reef."

You would want to purchase a vat of 50% of your bulk water, so at least 150g for water mixing/storage. Turnover just for the sump area is usually around 5-10 and depending on what you wish to keep, a flow rate between 30-50 turnover by the use of a closed-loop or powerheads.

Hehe, I think I edited my post just before you posted :) You'd be better off going with a Reeflo Dart at 3600gph or a Goby Gold at 3400gph. You have to take into account headloss and also what your overflows can carry. Almost forgot, at least a 75g up to a 125g for a sump.
