Which brand of tank is preffered? Seaclear, Tenecore, etc.

Doing research for my new 120/125 gal tank. What brand(s) is most preferred? I'm inclined toward a glass tank of about 48x24x24.

Oceanic is like the Cadillac of tanks IMO.

If you look at an Oceanic Tank, you can tell it's a quality tank. That middle support beam above the tank is glass (For Reef Lighting) and the trim and sealant is very durable. My LFS carries Oceanic Tanks, I would think yours does. I own a 75 gallon Oceanic and I'm totally pleased with it.

I don't have one but wish I did. They are twice the price of "All Glass" which I have but well worth it as far as withstanding the test of time. Any Yes they are glass tanks. Heavy glass tanks.

Got a quote on a "Vision", 120 gal (48x24x24) glass tank with 5 bulkhead holes drilled - $310 with tax.

How's that sound? Any bad news on Vision tanks?

I am a fan of Oceanic tanks as well. they are now being made by AGA. I have a 72gal bow front and am very happy with it. Great quality.

Oceanic are considered "best in class" because they're the least likely to crack, break, split, seals to go bad and leak... they're the thickest of all glass tanks. That's why they're the most expensive and the heaviest.

I have a 110g, and my step-father has a 150 and a 210.. all oceanic.

Extremely durable tanks.
