The second one has fans and a moonlight, plus shipping is cheaper, so the price difference is not as much. So I would go with #2.

I didn't consider that, you are going to need to really be on top of the nutrient levels and CO2 because they will need A LOT. Maybe #1 would be easier.

Yeah, get another 24W HO T5 bulb 12000K and toss the one 24W HO T5 bulb actinic blue bulb.

and how much better is a 20000k than a 10000k?

I wish I could help you more krap, but my knowledge of lighting is a little limited. My suggestion would be just get a matching 12000K bulb, but I could be wrong. Hopefully someone will jump in though...

ive decided to get #2 because the other one is being sold from a store and i can get get that opnce if it doesnt work out. or change the bulb. because its only like 20$.
