Is there a particular light, and/or spectrum of light you guys can recommend to inhibit algae growth? I'm running two non-planted freshwater tanks (both 12 gallons), with 6400K CFL lights.

Thanks!

On a fish-only tank, just turn the light on when you want to see the fish. That's the best way to prevent algae. Unless you have the tank in a closet or dark basement, the ambient light will be plenty.
