HELLO,
Sorry if this is a repost. I searched LED and found nothing. I just bought two led tubes with 198 White LED's in each tube. They are AC and put out (according to the seller) 100watts of light each with only a 11 watt draw. Each tube is 2.83 feet long. That's a nice pay off in my book. Anyway, I was wondering if anyone has had any experience with using LED's as your only light source? The set I really wanted was in panels with a total of 900 LED's but the cost difference was large for a "let's try this". I intend to also use blu LED's for night lights.

My tank is 125 gal 72" long and will be fresh water. I'm thinking I might have to buy another set to cover the full depth front to back of the tank since LED light is so directional.

Thanks for any input!
