Hi guys, so the last 2 times I changed my water and replaced it with cleaner water, it turned white...like someone took powdered chalk and dumped it into my tank. What is happening?

Your problem might be a water tank issue. For some reason, hot water coming directly from the tank has a concentrated mineral content. So if you are mixing in fresh warm water during WC's it's possible you are adding mineral enriched water; a possible explanation for your chalky looking water. In most cases harmless to fish.
Another possibility is a bacterial bloom. Also usually not harmful to fish, and will eventually go away with regular water maintenence.

Thanks for the help, it was definitely a bacterial bloom...annoying, but I sorted it out
