I've had mine running over a month and have yet to need to clean it. I keep checking it but its never that dirty.

Just hooked it up. Not working!! Nobody to call. It sounds like it's trying to prime but not quite working. All plumping is correct. Just sounds like swishing swishing in the canister bit nothing else.

Fill the whole thing with water then try again. Rock it back and forth to release the air bubbles in the top.
