Wiring IceCap 660 ballasts

Hi,

I am setting up my lighting and have some ?'s.
I have a wood hood that I built to sit about 6" above my tank and was wondering where I should mount the ballasts. Should they be on top of the hood or somewhere else? Anyone have any pictures of there setup?

I have mine on the top, just because they didn't seem to weigh much (4lb's a peice)...but it does put some stress on it as you're opening and closing it. Haven't had any problems so far.

I just wired mine and also put the ballast on the top, then ran the wires through drilled holes. Very neat.
