Won Pro-Heat 2 died

The tank water felt a bit cooler this morning and when I checked the temp it was down to 77. That's where my secondary heater is set. I checked my Won Pro 2 and the digital readout was at 173 degrees. I guess when they die there's no way it's getting stuck in the ON position

I ordered a new one today.

I guess that's a good thing. Just bought one yesterday. How old was yours anyway?

It was in my tank for 3 years and 1 month. Just got the new one today. This time I put the sensor on the drain side of my sump instead of coming up the back side and into the tank. The heater is in the middle compartment of the sump. My new MH lights are on legs and I think too close to the tank for the sensor to be accurate there.
