My main problem that brought me to this forum is that my new 110 gallon tank.. has a built in overflow chamber. To much water is flowing in despite me maiking the sump t-piece, i need to get some kind of chamber limiter, sort of like if I was to just raise the outside overflow i used to have, i can just shove cotton in the grooves to shut flow down. My overflow has three sides. And now most of my floating food goes into the sump, how do i fix that???

Your overflow should only pull as much water as the pump pushes unless the pump pushes more than the Gph of the overflow. For feeding you can turn the pump off or use a feeding dish. Mine is made out of the rim of an old tupperware bowl. This will keep the food calm until the fish are fed.
