ASM G3 Question

It that skimmer 24" really 24" or is that the space required to place it in a sump? Right now I have just over 24" in my stand and I just wanted to make sure it would fit.

The tank is a 90 gallon, but it is all [acronym:50f21caf12="Small Polyped Stoney"]SPS[/acronym:50f21caf12] so I wanted to really over skim.

Thanks....

Or maybe I can run two G2 skimmers instead?

The skimmer is 24" tall and needs about another 1/4" for collection cup removal. The G1X is pretty powerful and has the same performance as the G2.

The AquaC EV series is another powerful skimmer in a compact package that may fit inito your stand. Although they do cost more then the ASM'S.

i would run 2 G1X's. The performance is about the same as the G2 for a little less money. I do not even carry the G2 since they are so close in performance. I can get them if you want them though.

I think I will go with the 2 G1X's option. Just have to run it by my wife
Right now I have a ETSS Reef devil and it is not keeping up with my load. I only have 4 fish and feed only every other day, but I still seeing some browing ugh...

Thanks for the info. I should be ordering them next week.
