Protien skimmer question

I am stuck on whether to go with the Euro-Reef ES5-2 or the Aqua C Urchin Pro I am creating a 46 [acronym:a2c75cabf4="Gallon"]gal[/acronym:a2c75cabf4] reef with a 20 or 29 [acronym:a2c75cabf4="Gallon"]gal[/acronym:a2c75cabf4] sump. Which is more efficent, less maintinece, longevity, and preforms the best?

the euroreef is going to beat the AquaC. If it were me i would get a ASM G1X. It will out skim the smaller Euroreef and is under $200 after the discount. The ASM'S are basically Euroreefs made from differnet material. They use the same pump. THe dcollection cup on the euroreef and ASM need about 1/4" to remove and the aquaC needs about 3 1/2"

Does the ASM G1X require a lot of tinkering to get a good foam or a they closer to plug and skim? Maintence wise how difficult are they? since they are different materials that the EuorReefs how long and I expect them to last? Thanks for answering all the questions.

Pretty much plug and play like the euroreefs. They should last forever as long as you do not drop it or abuse it in any way.
