Cool. I might get one. Definatly the coolest pleco in my opinion

An a bristle nose pleco go in a 10g with no other fish?

BN plecos reach about 4" and need a minimum of 29 gals. With great filtration a 20 gal may work, but I think they still get too large for a 20. You could keep a baby in a 10 gal for a while, but it wouldn't be large enough for a permanent home.

For a 10 gal snails and shrimp are your best bet. You could easily do 20 or so red cherry shrimp and a couple nerite snails. Most efficient algae eating fish do best in 20 gals and up. Some do oto cat's in 10's but I don't recommend them since they should be stocked in groups of no less than 3 with no more than 1 per 5 gals which obviously can't be accomplished in a 10.
