It's just have fake plants in it as well as the rock ledge kinda thing, we are looking for something to put in the left corner probably a piece of dw we have but I don't know if it would be safe or not. I also forget how to test it. Was it vinegar?

The inhabitants are:
3 kribs ( 1 male, 2 females)
2 bleeding heart tetras
2 berry tetras ( I think... Also the bleeding heart and berry school together)
6 blue neon tetra
2 glowlight tetra( the rest died in a tank malfunction)
1 upside down catfish
1 believed to be a leopard pleco

The two kribs just had a fry, two bad the pair in my 35 hasn't had another fry yet. I counted 16 this morning

congrats!! happy fish then. are you keeping them or letting them be food? haha. i gave up keeping fry.
how big does a leopard pleco get?

Well the little specks are the fry. I am also trying to raise them. If they were in the 35 gallon they would have a better chance of survival. The first pair of breeding kribs were in their but the fry died for some reason... I believe it was because I forgot about water changes and the nitrates got two high. Dumb mistake.

I am however hatching brine shrimp for the little guys. They are only two days old so they aren't really going for them but some are. I watched the mother take some of the frozen shrimp and some flakes and spit it out in front of the fry. It was really cool to witness that's for sure.

I believe the vinegar test concerns rocks, not driftwood. Before putting my dw in, I scrubbed it well with hot water, and then let it sit soaking in a bucket for a couple of days (until most of the tannins leaked out). I think that is all you need to do (assuming, of course that you are not picking it up somewhere there is toxic waste :D -- in that case then I have no idea).

I do think that a nice piece of driftwood in the left corner like you said would look great. Loving your tank! :fish2:

agreed on the driftwood! what do u feed the pleco? x
they are sweet little specs ha.
an epic thing on the spitting out subject - a 2.5 inch oscar with a pellet in its mouth swimming to a red zebra (1inch), chewing a bit then spitting it out to feed it then going back and getting its own food. it's feeding its feeder lol!
yeah, iv been soaking my driftwood for 4 days now. have been pouring boiling water on it per day. im gonna add it tomorrow, the water ran clear today but i want to make sure.
i love your tank! beautiful.

Thank you for the compliments the pleco gets other omega one algea wafer or the green hikari wafer. But I was thinking of seaweed clips... I like my 35 gallon better though the first breeding kribs were in there. These are some picks of it. You can tell the difference in the gravel from when I did my vacuum...

the leopard pleco looks like a l-83, like mine. aka orange spotted sailfin.
he's a handsome sucker ha x

You mean the big guy right? He looks like he is yellow with black spots on him... I thought leopard pleco was the same thing as a sailfin pleco? I thought i saw it on the internet in a couple of places. The little one is a bristle nose pleco. That's what the store said.

yeah the big guy, im saying they are the same thing - i know mine by the l-83 sailfin rather than leopard cos theres so many spotted plecos out there lol.

I no what you mean, I was saw so many pictures of spotted things. I put in L-83 and bam only pleco to come up!

I'd say my three are around an inch and a half right now...

I'd say an inch and a half right now. That photo was taken by the owner of the lfs I purchased it from. I got a pic of the l-83 thought he looked really good there.
