20 gallon planted(many pics) - Aquarium Advice

here is my 1st attempt at a planted tank
it has 48 watts of 2 17 w t8s(it doesnt at up but t8s are 141% of a watt of a reguilar bulb i was told so it actually is 34 but puts out like 48 i believe) with the hagen co2 system and stock top fin filter which i dont like but i dont have the money to replace now

ya now my objective is to get my algae all gone and then just have all the plants grow in

Tank is looking good! Tough part is to keep it that way. The higher your light, the trickier it gets. If you want to keep those red plants red, you may have to increase your light. It's all about trial and error. Definatly worth the effort, lots of folks on the forum to help you out.

ya the red lugwigia may not stay red but may stay living green but the middle red plant may die out that was an impulse buy
