50 gallon tank with little inhabitants
I love my 50 [acronym:5f3d3a7446="Gallon"]gal[/acronym:5f3d3a7446] tank. The fish were picked out based on size and temperament. For the most part, they are under 3" each, with the exception of the clown, bristle nose and rubber lip plecos and the multiple khuli loaches
I wanted herds of cory cats, but they are not long lived and I fell for the striped khuli loach. The substrate is various sizes of river rock and smaller, natural colored gravel. The plants are all low light and the wood is natural. The castle is there because I am tired of all natural biotopish tanks. Trevor will be working on a hood for this tank when he is done with the 80 gallon and we will add more light to the tank! The tank does get some natural light during the day, but with the plants and the plecos, algae growth is never seen! For pics of the fish, check out my gallery |

I second that. I love the castle. It's not garish at all.
I remember sometime back hearing about an Aquarium with Red Gravel and the Skeleton of a cat for decoration. Now that I would like to have seen. Jeff

It looks great! Like something you would actually find when walking through the woods.
