55 Gallon Community

55 Gallon Community, currently 4 angels, 4 swords, 5 danios 2 three spot gouramis and a red tailed black shark.

I custom built the stand and hood to match the armoire I built a few years ago and the dvd storage cabinet that sits in the same room. Underneath is a ten gallon quarantine/ hospital, filter and storage.

Enjoy!

hmm, now to talk the other half into a mbuna tank for the basement!

Happy New Year all!

Very nice. Is that just a quarantine tank on the bottom?

Great stand and canopy. What a ingenious idea to put/build a small bookshelf in there.....duh....why did I never think of that?

Yep, it is just a quarantine, I could make it a sump, but I havent found a 'need' to yet.

Very nice. I notice an adjacent chair as well....we know that gets used lots.

I am trying to get my stuff organized too, i am thinking of buying some of those plastic drawers to go under my 50gal stand. The tank looks really good!

I started out with milk crates, but eventually ended up slapping that shelf together because nothing I could find was exactly what I wanted. It's still not perfect, (The python is stored above the washing machine), but it does get everything in one place for the most part.

Thanks for the positive comments!
