We're almost done with the waterfall tank; so I thought it's about time to build another tank! ;)

This time it'll be a 80 gallon bow-front planted discus tank.

Filter: fluval g6 (of course)
Heater: 2x aqueon pro 250w
Co2: 10lb pressurized
Lighting: 4x 54w t5ho 48" (total 216w -- 2.7 w/gallon).

Picked up the tank + co2 tank yesterday; have everything else. So now I just have to decide on aquascaping, drilling the tank, etc..

Ok got it back home last night. Paid $225 for tank/stand.

Got two free filters magnum350 and cascade.
Protein skimmer
Water pump
Heater
Two lamps
30lbs of white sand

Filled it tonight.. No leaks, yeah!
No scratches under sunlight, light swirls which seemed to go away under water.

Tank is setup, 40lbs of sand, filled with water, filter, heater, lights...

Pickup co2 today, and 40 more lbs sand. It's starting to look like a real tank.

After I have everything setup and running the way I want; I'll start aquascaping. The plants I have inside now are carry overs from the last tank and are my guenea pigs to make sure everything is working. Not sure if they'll make the final cut.

(I'll try to remember to take another picture with more ambient light.)

For next Phase of the co2 setup; I'm trying to decide on a bubble ladder, a diffuser with small ladder/counter (very prevalent on eBay), or injecting into the OUTput of my filter.

Suggestions?

Hmm; the regulator dropped from 10psi to 7psi, and the bubbles slowed. Is this normal? Will it settle out?

The reactor on the filter is the best way from what I here so that's what I'll be doing this week for mine :) (mine will be a DIY)

Updates!
