8/7 -- It has been neglected and rotala macandra suffered (only two stems have survived the shade).

I have too many plant species and would like to do a proper aquascape. Suggestions are appreciated.
 
i kinda like the overgrown look!!
never had much luck with aquascaping, just not born with the artistic sense i guess.

only observation - your rotala is the only dash of red in an otherwise bright green tank. you could place it at a focal point to bring it out. i.e. swap the indica and macrandra.

i lost my whole bunch of ludwigia in my previous 10g this way. left it to grow out and it strangled itself :( .

tetrin, thanks, I like that idea. I'm now considering moving out the red dwarf liles and propogating R. macandra while thinning R. rotundifolia. All the L. repens grew from the horizontal stem method mentioned earlier, btw. I'll try it with R. macandra.
