How do I preserve my bacteria when I do my mothy filter maintenanc?????

75 gallon tank. 1 small Oscar 3 ivory snails 3 blue snails 1 small pleco. Magnum 350 filter

What kind of filter are you running ? it helps when you rinse it off , do it water that came from you tank , when you do a PWC , also if you using a filter with multiple stages to only change one stage at a time ,
Week 1 mechanical
Week 2 biological
Week 3 chemical
This way u doing completely mess with the biological filter , this should help.

I've actually got two magnum 350s. Thinking about running both and doing maintenance on pay days haha just alternating

Alternating is a good idea , since it will allow the previous filter to build up its bio filter
