Pretty bummed. Found all 4 threadfin rainbows I got yesterday dead. I've heard they have issues shipping but thought I wold just be lucky enough to have no deaths. Going to get my money back and unsure if I want to try them again.

Money Can't Buy Happiness, But It Can Buy Fish Which Is Pretty Much The Same Thing

Well in happy to announce even though I've had a few deaths today, I have found about 10-11 baby RCS swimming around. On top of that, all the remaining fish I have seen eat and are doing well.

Kind of a long hiatus ay? Been very busy with school and work. Also on PRA.

But anyways many changes have come to my tanks. Some this thread never even saw and now I only have photos.

Nevertheless I felt I should give an update on how things are going.

The current running tanks are:

75g- just changed into a semi aggressive 'mini monster' tank. Currently housing an African brown Knifefish, 1 ropefish(yes still the original from this thread, and planning on more), and a new delhezi bichir currently in QT it's tail was nipped pretty good.

55g- golden weather loach species only tank. 5 of them currently.

30g- this was previously a 20g long planted community tank housing a pair of Apistogramma Cacatuoides 'triple red', celestial Pearl danios, pymgy corydora, and Kuhli loaches. The tank crashed after a fatal mistake by me and killed my beautiful apisto pair. After that the silicone developed air bubbles and I tore down the tank and moved everything to this 30g cube. I then gave threadfin rainbowfish another try and have 5 flourishing currently.

10g Betta tank- planted housing 1 happy male Betta.

10g shrimp tank- red cherry shrimp and 2 Amano shrimp. Have about 80 cherries now :)

2g planted jar- nothing in it just plants but pretty cool for no tech.

Pics to come.

Now a 30g- https://imgur.com/6XCLyFA

^ pictures do not do justice. There's quite a bit of hard scape under the moss that has created many many hiding places for all the small fish and shrimp.

The only decent photo I have of a threadfin- https://imgur.com/1SzZuAR

Caleb who? 6 months is quite a hiatus.
Enjoyed the pics, especially the apistos and elusive threadfin. I've got the same thing going on in my shrimp tank. Under a canopy of moss is a lot of DW and activity.
