I have had my 20 gallon long fish tank set up for 3 months now. It is cycled and the water parameters remain constant and safe
It used to hold my betta and 3 platies. A piece of foam I cut got stuck in the main filter and caused the filter to shut off. In result one of my platies died and my betta died from old age.
My current stocking: 2 paired ottos, two platies(one male one female and some ghost shrimp.
I keep the temperature around 78-80
I have a 100 watt heater, a whisperer 30 power filter and an aqueon 10 power filter equipped onto this tank. Also it has a class canopy with a light strip on top.
I plan to rehome the platies and add new fish. I've been looking at rams and dwarf cichlids. I need suggestions on new stocking.
I am starting this journal now because I've been busy with modifying my other tank. Eventually I plan to change this tank to planted. I encourage others to follow and stick around!
