Fantail

Here is a fantail that I have in a 25 gal. I bought him when he was much smaller about a year and a half ago. He was labeled as an oranda. I think he is more along the lines of a fantail as his brain has not grown any bigger since I have had him.

As I'm kind of new, I don't know if there is a goldfish section of the forum. I just wanted to show him off, so I posted it here.

He is a very pretty fish. I think he looks like an oranda but without much wen development. I assume you were referring to the sac thing on his head when you said "his brain" which is actually called his wen. Some orandas don't develop them due to malnutrition or bad water quality as they grow up.
