Finally getting my 55 going!

Well.... Got everything switched over! I've still gotta get some more taller plants, fish, and I've got some brick pieces to put in there. But it's coming together!

Ok guys here's some pics with a little more aquascaping..... And I took Steveo's suggestion and came up with something ff related in there and I'm really diggin it (the fish seem to like it pretty good too) some of you will recognize it!! Hopefully add some fish this weekend!!!!!

WOW! I loved seeing how your tank transformed. you did an amazing job. are those read plants or fake? im new so i cant tell the difference. and is that mask from you know the movie with jim carry the mask. ha. well i cant wait to see your tank with fish in it. and might i ask what you used to get those water stains off the glass?

Thanx guys, I appreciate it!! And yes NEVERLAND that is the mask from the movie in the center, but the clear plastic on the right is actually the lens out of a firefighter breathing mask and that was a suggestion from Steveo on here since I'm a firefighter.... They are fake plants, and I intend on adding a few more of those eventually..... Hopefully gonna pick up some cool fish this weekend too! Oh.... And cleaning the tank..... I really never got it crystal clear and actually put a few mall scratches in it trying, but with the water in it it clears up fairly well. I researched how to clean it and got some pretty crazy ideas and tried most of them.... I tried, vinegar, lemon juice, CLR, hot sauce, and scouring pads..... Believe it or not, the hot sauce seemed to work the best but nothing completely cleaned it and the scouring pad I used actually scratched the glass! The only thing that I did not try that was suggested was pure ammonia, just because I didn't have any. But I will say this...... If you have any questions dealing with any aspect of an aquarium, ask it in here and you WILL get an answer!!!!! The folks on here are awesome and very knowledgeable!!!!
