Nice, what kind of bulb are you using in that fixture?
I'm sorry, but what do you mean by bulb (I'm not English) Light? :)

I think I'll get another Danio to give the solo Zebra some company and maybe a ninja shrimp :bowl:

-----------Edit--------------
My bulb right :p
Here's a pic (old one, http://img24.imageshack.us/img24/5254/dsc03920l.jpg )
A standard desklamp + I added aluminium foil around it for a reflection effect so the light shines only into my aquarium and no shadow when people walk around :D

9 watt (230 volt) hurts my eyes though xD (the foil required, or something else :D )

Give some advice for the future
dont add any more zebras. they are a active fish and need a little more room then a 5-10 gallon tank. i wouldnt put them in anything under a 20 and a 20 long is best.

About the seashells, your Cardinals like acidic water (low pH), whereas seashells raise the pH. So you might want to test your pH. However not with test strips though as they can be inaccurate, so you'll need to check with a liquid test kit.
