Update--July 20, 2014

Returning From Vacation Update:

To my surprise, my Ludwigia repens grew over a span of a week and a half.

Although, my Rotala rotundifolia looks sort of sluggish ?, and some of the stems came uprooted.

Also, BBA has invaded my tank once again ??, so I'll have to get rid of it since inconsistent fertilization and CO2 (Excel) dosing was put into place while I was gone.

On the bright side, I got some new driftwood that is larger and bolder.

All in all, my tank doesn't look bad for a week and a half of neglection. No fish or plants are dead, and I'm going to do a water change tomorrow. Stay tuned for updates!

Cyperus helferi. It is a nice plant, but it takes a long time to adjust and start growing.

I ordered mine from Peabody's Paradise, and I got it in its tissue culture form. They are also available at Petsmart too.

Hey guys, I'm going to create a new thread in the planted tank section about my tank to get more views. Thanks for all the great comments! In the new thread, it won't be a journal, it will just be a discussion with pictures and what not. I actually plan on doing a rescape, so that is another reasoning for a new thread.
