i have a 55 gal tank in that tank there is not much substrate, two rocks holding up a center piece plant, water is slow moving...now for a better view check my instagram page KillaKane07.i recently received two male dwarf gouramis and two gold gouramis also male the dwafs are fine but ive noticed that my two gold are always at the top of the tank on opposite sides of the tank...there is no fighting or signs of aggression they are shy to eat.

is this a problem and if so does anyone no why there behavior is so odd?

hey thanks

actually yes seems as if they are settling in they have not been hiding in the top corners and are moving around.

thanks much.

Golds (which are a color morph of trichogaster trichoperterus) are beautiful fish, but they can be buttheads. With two males, even a 55 might be two small for the two to be together, since they can get to 6" each. if you haven't already, I'd consider providing hiding places for whichever becomes the beta and, when they both get big, rehoming one.
