Gday guys,

Here's my setup...

Current stocking is
3 x Harlequin Raspboras
6 x Longfin Zebra Danio's
4 x Angelfish
1 x Red Tail Shark
1 x Black Ghost Knife
Many x Shrimp

Tank when full and pretty by insane phototography, on Flickr

I had some issues with the tank, the above image is from when I first completed the aquascaping, filled it and put shrimp in.

I then found a silicone seam tearing apart, had to drain a lot of the water and repair it.

A lot of people have told me to give up on the tank and sell it as a reptile enclosure, but I think I did a **** good job on the new silicone seal. It has been 2 weeks now since the repair and it is tight and clean still.

I am slowly refilling it to see how the seam holds...

The little bugger has made 3 tunnels out of the tree into the tank...

The red tail shark is so scared..

Hope you like it.

The tank background is a pale blue and it's not helping my water looking green... I will have to scrape it off and repaint White or Frosted I think. The water is slightly yellow/green, but not as much as the photo's show.

Thanks guys.

I scavenged the tree after a particularly high tide here, it did have lots of smaller branches also but they were just too tall. I believe it's a mangrove, it was pretty much the perfect driftwood, sank straight away, no tannins and no slime on it. I bleached it for a day and had no colour come out at all.

Cheers,
Dan

Thanks guys!

Just a bit of an update,

The tanks going really well, everything is working as it's meant to, except that I don't have enough light :( some of my plants are reaching upwards unfortunately. Apart from that it's going really well and I will have that sorted soon.

I acquired some new stock 2 days ago, just though I'd show off!
