Moar dots! Moardotsanddots! Stop dots!

I'm looking forward to the shrimp exodus from the 5.5. Whelps! Many whelps! Handle it! Hahahahaha ?

Looks like we are cycled. I did a fishless cycle and dosed pure ammonia every other day in ridiculous amounts. Tested tonight and I'm 0 across the board. Looks like the plants are taking care of the nitrates as planned.

Very nice looking tank!

@Laeris, Why in the world would you want to put shrimp into a just barely cycled tank??? Those guys are expensive, sensitive to ammonia and need an established tank (3+ months old!).

I think Lareris means when the tank is established system that is cycled...

That's exactly what she (Laeris) means. We've been talking about adding some fish. I'm thinking endlers to begin.

Awesome choice, what type of endlers are you thinking if specifically? So many cool varieties...

I'm not sure what the variety is but they are pretty. And tough to photograph!

P.s. the other reason she is wanting me to get my shrimp migrating to the 20 is that I currently have over 60 in my 5.5 with 5 berried females. I'll run fish only for a while before I start moving shrimp.

I've been trying to get more established plants in there as well. He'd be getting them 3rd hand, so they've got lots of yummies for shrimp to nom. But no, I know it'll be a while before it's actually shrimp ready. He and I have been here before. :) Good looking out! ?

Endlers installed! Good luck spotting them.

I had to take the heater out from behind the filter it doesn't keep up with the demand back there.

It'll look great once the water sprite cammos it XD We have 5"x5" mass of java moss inc next month, please start thinking about how you'd like it placed. Next warm spell, I'm hoping Brenna has cholla avail and you might try wrapping or stuffing one or two pieces with moss.

Less than one week in the 20 and I have baby endlers! This is going to be a fun tank!!!!

The shrimp are in, they have been for a few days. They seem to be happy with more space to move and play. The endlers are still having a blast. They are fast little guys. Hard to get a good photo of them.

ImageUploadedByAquarium Advice1451939147.830147.jpg Filters for the 10g breeders and the other 5.5 have arrived. Five filters for $46 including shipping? Yes, please. Will be getting seed bb from LFS Friday.

They're 45ppi cubes of Poret foam siliconed to ceramic tiles. The tubes have an airline pipe, the inside has a ring of fine holes. This cuts down on the noise. We'll have to cut the hole but the foam has suggested spots lightly marked with chalk, easily rinsed away.

Assassin snails eat shrimp. Who knew?
