I am about 13 months into my first planted tank. This pic is with my phone and right after a heavy trim and up rooting. Still a bit cloudy.
All the plants came from a friends trimmings except for a couppe bulbs from wally-world. I live in B.F.E. Nebraska so getting anything is a challange. Minimum of a two hour drive either way I go.

No Co2 for 4 months now and still growing like crazy. 216w H.O.T5's and a marineland360 can filt. Very low doses of seachrems fert + nutrients.
3 opoline gouramis. 6 true S.A.E.. 2 corys. 1 bristlenose. 2 oto's. 1 feather fin syndontis cat. One ? ram.
Thanks for lookin!
DannyD

Are there any fish someone would recomend. Something that will play nice with what i already have...it is a very peaceful tank and would like to keep it that way.

I would bump the number of cories you have up to 6. You could look into schools of tetras or something similar. I think Diamond Tetras would be a nice looking school in that tank. They are very active swimmers and love darting around large tanks.

I like the look ... nicely done(y) Where did you get the larger DW on the left side? I really like it!

That tank looks really nice! That is a huge piece of driftwood! I am jealous...

Dr Foster and Smiths. A friend and i bought about $100 worth and took turns picking. We still have left overs for our other tanks. I have the best piece in the world for a nano tank.

On the left...that is actually two pieces...one is huge and the piece on the back side has it like a kickstand, makes it almost look like a big rotten trunk.
I wish I would have taken a pic before i trimmed. It was a jungle. You didnt see much wood at all. This panted tank has been so much fun. Its a new creation everyother trim. This time just happened to be my fav so far.
Thanks guys! Im super stoked that you like it!

I dont have many corys because i have a ton of maylasian trumpet snails. These two are way smaller than the third one i got at the same time but went to the bro-in-laws tank with no snails. What kind of cory do i have. I wish i could find them again.

Looks like a GBR or bolivian, possibly a balloon variety of one of the two.

I was told bolivian once before by a friend but we wernt exactly sure. He has a cool personality though. I got him when i bought some german blues. Dont think he was supposed to come with me but he did.

Opoline gauramis-spelling?!? I like how these change colors on a regular basis. They get very dark sometimes.

Spelled opaline. I wouldn't risk having all of those in the tank, once they mature their real personality shows and they can either get territorial or agressive.

They are about 3 years old right now. They are calm and syncronized swimmers. They are about 4 1/2" long. But I have had bad ones before. These i do believe are all female. But I will take notice and keep that in mind. I do have other tanks for them if need be.

This pic of my driftwood here just convinced me to slide my tank over. It is currently hid by the wall. :-( It wasnt the easiest to get a good shot of it.
