So I got started in this hobby when my dad gave me his 55 gallon with a stand, filter and some décor, which is no longer used. It also had a albino common pleco about 13" long, which has been given a new home. I have since bought some gravel, new décor and have completely stocked it. Learned some lessons along the way(learned the nitrogen cycle the hard way) and have completely fallen for the hobby. I have bought so many and traded so many other tanks its funny, even more funny is I don't really have any more room to set them up where I can enjoy them!

Anyway, I have just acquired a 90 gallon, that I will be building a stand and canopy for, and upgrading it from my 55. Plan will be a PFS substrate(already have in bags) with blue slate(have a lot so far) big pieces of driftwood and some live plants. I have also acquired a used 48" power compact light, ordered and just received today 2 21" 6700k, and 2 21" 3-6-10 bulbs, boy do they look nice!

Now, since I haven't really put any pictures of my tank on yet ill post a few. The stocking is as follows
1 Angelfish
5 Long fin red minor tetras
5 brilliant rasboras
1 gold, 2 blue apple snails
3 otos
1 panda, 1 albino, 1 peppered, 1 julli cory
1 male, 1 female german blue ram

Do the cories shoal together? Usually they like to have buddies from the same species

Sometimes they do, When I got them I was told they would. Typical fish store idiot I guess. But the panda and albino are usually always together, according to AQAdvisor the peppered and julli will, but the peppered is always hiding. When I do my upgrade to the 90 the plan is to fill them out, or trade them for some gorgeus Orange Laser cories.

Looking good! You've done an amazing job for a first time aquascaper. Keep it up!
